The Hemp Alliance connects its members with essential resources and a supportive community to help them build successful and profitable businesses. We advocate for both local and national policy changes on behalf of our members and strive to educate consumers to enhance their confidence in hemp products.
Our members are dedicated to establishing a state industry grounded in ethics and education. We promote ethical business practices, such as accurate labeling, the use of eco-friendly technologies, sustainable and organic agriculture, respect for human rights, and a commitment to producing high-quality products. We are also deeply committed to education and fellowship, sharing our collective knowledge and experiences to benefit the industry.
Join us today and let’s work together to continue growing hemp industry.
Our team has been advocating for hemp and medical cannabis since 2010 adding language to the 2014 farm bill voluntary program, the 2018 farm bill legalizing hemp, and the USDA final rule adopted. At the state level, we have drafted language adopted in all state hemp legislation in Georgia and participated in drafting the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s rules and regulations.
The hemp retail industry is experiencing fierce opposition to non-naturally occurring synthetic and intoxicating products (i.e., delta-8 and delta-10), and requiring THCa to be added to the testing analysis to determine the total delta-9 thc percentage to be considered legal hemp. there is a nationwide movement led by anti-hemp forces and the same effort in Congress to change the definition of hemp to exclude certain products extremely valuable to hemp retailers. The Hemp Alliance advocacy team is committed to continuing our work protecting the availability of all safe hemp products and to weed out bad actors in the industry that are causing these extreme movements against safe hemp products. For growers, The Hemp Alliance will continue promoting the industry to add markets for industrial hemp products.
